Ducati Energia has an SOS system for the management of emergency calls based on GSM technology, intended for the columns outside along the road axis. GSM technology allows the installation of SOS columns outdoors without special predispositions, since they are equipment that does not require connections, thanks to the power supply via photovoltaic panel and wireless transmission. The column electronics are contained in a stainless steel box that has a front to the public with buttons, microphone and speaker for hands-free hands-free dialogue, and has connection connectors on the lower part inside the cabinet. The built-in stainless steel box can be inserted in different types of cabinets.
