SOS Rescue Stations with GSM/GPRS technology
The system, based on GSM/GPRS technology, consists of the SOS Rescue Stations (located along the roadway, and in the emergency areas) and the Response Centre. The SOS Rescue Station consists of a column in which a stainless steel recessed container is inserted (see the figures above) equipped with a screen-printed front panel with user interface function, and an electronic control unit. The column (see the figures below) is a fiberglass or stainless steel cabinet (for installations along the road network in emergency lay-bys). The electronic control unit is powered by a 3Ah backup battery kept charging by power supply from the solar panel or from the mains. The Response Center can be built according to configurations capable of supporting one or more operators.
